Cardiff North Taekwon-do School – Cheque Presentation
After their magnificent efforts back in September, tackling the 3 Peaks of South Wales challenge with the Storey Arms Centre, the team at Cardiff North Taekwon-do School contacted us again!
This time it was to let us know that all the monies were in and they had a final total for their donation to the Friends of Storey Arms.
As you can see from the photo, it was a massive £1,400 – raised by every one of the people who took part. The youngest participants were under 10 years old and we wouldn’t like to say how old the oldest ones were!
They held a celebration event on 10th January in Cardiff, when they presented a cheque to our Chair, Aled Morgan.
We cannot thank the whole CNTKD School enough for their hard work and enthusiasm in their support of our charity. Every penny helps to provide opportunities to other young people from Cardiff and the Vale and a sum of money like this is so important in helping us reach our goals.
